CFAT is structured across ten integrated learning modules, each building on the previous to create a complete picture of how finance operates inside a modern organisation.
Module 1 — Practical Accounting
Students learn the complete accounting cycle from transaction recording to financial statement preparation. Training covers bookkeeping and vouching, invoicing and billing, statutory and accounting registers, bank reconciliation, payroll management, inventory management and stock valuation, financial statement finalisation, and system finalisation for trading, manufacturing, service, contracting, and non-profit organisations.
What you gain: The ability to independently manage full accounting cycles and prepare finalised financial statements across different types of organisations.
Module 2 — Accounts and Finance Management
Students develop the financial management skills that corporate employers actively look for — financial statement analysis, business cycle understanding, balance sheet interpretation, cash flow and fund flow management, working capital and budgeting, risk management, capital structure analysis, pricing strategy, break-even analysis, and performance evaluation.
What you gain: The ability to evaluate business performance, control costs, plan budgets, analyse profitability, and support financial decision-making in corporate environments.
Module 3 — Online and Offline Banking
Students gain practical exposure to corporate banking operations — payment systems including cheque, DD, RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, UPI, business banking documentation, and credit facility procedures for business loans, overdrafts, and vehicle loans.
What you gain: Confidence in managing corporate banking transactions, digital payments, and loan documentation processes.
Module 4 — Software and ERP Training
Students receive hands-on practical training on the industry’s leading accounting and ERP platforms: SAP FICO, SAP Business One, Tally Prime (Levels 1, 2 and 3), Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and accounting simulation software.
What you gain: Professional-level ERP skills, advanced Excel reporting capability, and the ability to manage accounting systems in corporate environments.
Module 5 — Auditing and Taxation
Students learn Indian and UAE statutory compliance through practical exercises. Training covers preparation of audit-ready accounts, GST registration and return filing, e-way bill procedures, Income Tax return filing, TDS and TCS compliance, ESI and PF management, UAE VAT return filing, and UAE Corporate Tax compliance.
What you gain: The ability to manage tax filings and statutory compliance independently for both Indian and UAE regulatory environments.
Module 6 — Artificial Intelligence in Finance
CFAT is one of the few accounting courses in Kerala that integrates Artificial Intelligence as a core curriculum module — not as an add-on or a single session, but as a dedicated learning track across two full modules. Students are introduced to the practical role of AI in modern accounting and finance. Topics include fundamentals of AI and machine learning, automated data entry and processing, AI tools for accounting and financial decision-making, cost optimisation using AI, and responsible AI usage in professional environments.
What you gain: The ability to integrate AI tools into accounting workflows, automate routine processes, and improve accuracy and decision-making speed.
Module 7 — Financial Reporting and Analysis with AI
Students move from learning AI concepts to applying them in financial reporting. Training covers AI financial modelling, smart financial analysis, AI-powered bank reconciliation, data visualisation and interactive dashboard creation, and predictive financial analysis using modern AI tools.
What you gain: The ability to generate predictive financial reports, design business dashboards, and deliver AI-powered insights that support corporate strategy.
Module 8 — Business Law
Students develop awareness of the legal framework that governs financial operations — the Indian Contract Act, the Negotiable Instruments Act, and Corporate Law — providing context for compliance responsibilities in the workplace.
What you gain: Understanding of legal compliance, contractual obligations, and corporate governance as they relate to finance roles.
Module 9 — Soft Skills and Professional Development
Students build workplace confidence and corporate readiness through mock interviews, corporate etiquette training, professional communication development, and interview preparation.
What you gain: The professional confidence and communication skills required to perform in corporate interview and workplace settings.
Module 10 — Practical Workshops
The final module brings everything together through real-time project execution. Students prepare accounts using actual business documents, complete AI-based financial reporting projects, execute ERP-based finalisation projects, and run compliance filing simulations.
What you gain: Real-world execution experience and the confidence to handle corporate finance responsibilities from day one of employment.
