BFAT is structured across ten integrated modules, each building a specific layer of accounting, finance, ERP, AI, and compliance capability.
Module 1 — Practical Accounting
The practical foundation of the entire programme. Students learn the complete corporate accounting cycle using real business documents, commercial invoices, vouchers, and financial records. Training covers bookkeeping and vouching of business transactions, invoicing and billing systems, maintenance of statutory and accounting registers, bank reconciliation and monthly and annual statement preparation, payroll management and financial statement finalisation, inventory management, stock valuation, and reconciliation, preparation of projected and provisional financial statements, and system finalisation for Non-Profit, Trading, Service, Contracting, and Manufacturing organisations.
What you gain: The ability to independently manage complete accounting operations, prepare audit-ready financial statements, and handle real-world accounting responsibilities across multiple business sectors — the foundation every accounting employer expects from a job-ready professional.
Module 2 — Accounts and Finance Management
Students develop the business finance management skills that move them from accountant to finance professional. Topics include financial statement analysis and interpretation, understanding business cycles and cash flow dynamics, fund flow and working capital management, budgeting and risk management, asset management, capital structure planning, portfolio analysis, pricing strategies, performance evaluation, and financial decision-making for business growth.
What you gain: The ability to analyse company finances, manage working capital, prepare and monitor budgets, evaluate business performance, and support informed financial decisions — the skills that give finance professionals a seat at the management table.
Module 3 — Online and Offline Banking
Students gain practical knowledge of corporate banking operations that are needed from day one in any accounting or finance role. Training covers payment systems including cheque, DD, PO, RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, UPI, and Fast Money, cheque writing and printing procedures, and complete documentation for business loans, overdraft facilities, cash credit, and vehicle loans.
What you gain: Confidence in managing corporate banking transactions, processing digital and physical payments accurately, and handling credit facility documentation in professional finance environments.
Module 4 — Software Training
Students receive comprehensive hands-on training across the full range of accounting, ERP, and office software that modern employers use. Training covers Tally Prime Levels 1, 2 and 3 covering complete accounting, inventory, GST, payroll, and financial reporting, SAP Business One for ERP-based business operations management, Zoho Books cloud accounting, accounting simulation software for compliance practice, Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting, Microsoft Word for business documentation, and Microsoft PowerPoint for professional presentations.
What you gain: Multi-platform software proficiency across Tally Prime, SAP Business One, Zoho Books, and Microsoft Office — the combination of tools that makes a BFAT graduate significantly more adaptable than candidates who know only one accounting platform.
Module 5 — Auditing and Taxation
Students learn Indian and UAE statutory compliance at a comprehensive practical level. Training covers preparation of audit-ready accounts and year-end schedules, GST registration and return filing with e-Way Bill procedures, Income Tax return filing preparation, TDS and TCS compliance, ESI and PF compliance procedures, UAE VAT return filing through simulation software, and UAE Corporate Tax compliance — all practiced in realistic business scenarios using dedicated simulation platforms.
What you gain: The ability to independently manage GST compliance, Indian statutory obligations, and UAE VAT procedures — one of the most valued combined skillsets for accounting roles in both Kerala and Gulf markets.
Module 6 — Artificial Intelligence in Accounting
Students learn how Artificial Intelligence is transforming the accounting profession and develop practical skills using AI tools in real accounting contexts. Topics include fundamentals of AI and machine learning, data handling and AI tool usage, automated data entry and processing, AI applications in accounting and financial decision-making, AI for cost optimisation and risk awareness, and responsible professional use of AI tools in business environments.
What you gain: The practical ability to use AI tools to automate routine accounting tasks, improve accuracy and speed, reduce errors, and support better business decisions — positioning graduates well ahead of candidates who have no AI exposure.
Module 7 — Financial Reporting and Analysis with AI
Students apply AI capabilities directly to financial reporting and business analytics. Training covers AI financial modelling and smart reporting, AI-powered smart bank reconciliation, data visualisation and interactive dashboard creation, and hands-on lab sessions using AI tools for financial analysis and management reporting.
What you gain: The ability to generate intelligent financial reports, build interactive business dashboards, and deliver AI-powered financial insights that support strategic management decisions — skills increasingly expected even at certificate level in modern finance roles.
Module 8 — Business Law
Students develop understanding of the legal framework that governs business and financial operations. Topics include the Indian Contract Act, the Negotiable Instruments Act, and Corporate Law fundamentals.
What you gain: Understanding of legal compliance, contractual obligations, negotiable instruments, and corporate governance principles that are essential for compliant and professionally sound accounting and finance practice.
Module 9 — Soft Skills and Professional Development
Students build the corporate communication, professional confidence, and interview readiness that technical training alone does not develop. Training covers mock interviews simulating real company hiring processes, corporate etiquette and professional behaviour standards, business communication skills, and presentation skills for finance and accounting environments.
What you gain: The professional confidence, interview performance capability, and workplace communication skills that turn a technically qualified candidate into a successfully employed professional.
Module 10 — Practical Workshops and Industry Projects
The final module brings the entire 6-month curriculum together through project-based practical execution. Students complete accounts preparation using real business documents, AI-based financial reporting projects, ERP-based finalisation projects using SAP Business One and Tally Prime, and compliance filing simulations covering GST, UAE VAT, TDS, and statutory procedures — all executed in conditions that closely replicate real corporate finance department responsibilities.
What you gain: Complete practical execution experience across accounting, ERP, AI reporting, and compliance — the confidence and demonstrated capability to handle real workplace responsibilities from the first day of employment.
